Our newly patented SMART Tap® procedure for medical and process piping eliminates long, expensive shut downs of gas, liquid, and vacuum systems. Our Shape Memory Alloy (SMA) couplings are designed specifically for use on medical gas and vacuum pipe systems. These couplings have been approved by the National Fire Protection Association for use in medical gas piping since 1987. Plus, they exceed the standard for a brazed joint and do not generate any contamination during installation. What's more, the couplings are applied without the use of an open flame - reducing the risk of fire in a confined space and eliminating carbon build up on the interior of the piping system.
